The session will provide an overview of artificial intelligence (AI): what it is, where we're using it in every day life, and how it's showing up in higher education.

The session will include a look at AI in pop culture, definitions of AI, and a nod to debates about what AI is capable of creating and doing. We'll wrap up with a brief look at various uses of AI in higher education advising, student support, and assessments.
