Employers don't hire military job titles. They hire leaders, project managers, trainers, analysts, logistics specialists, technicians, and problem-solvers. Join us for an interactive discussion of how to translate military training and experience into language that civilian employers immediately recognize and value. Participants will be provided with examples of military career fields and roles and work through the following questions together: - What are the transferable skills associated with the military job title? - Which civilian career options appear to be aligned with provided examples of military occupations? - How can military descriptions be reframed for civilian contexts? This session will offer opportunities for both military affiliated and civilian participants to share their perspectives and develop a stronger understanding of how military training and experience are perceived in civilian employment processes.
