Institutional Supports to Enable External Delivery of Credit Leading Certificates

In 2020 the University of Michigan and Coursera announced a partnership to launch a new product type for Coursera, the MasterTrack Certificate. The School of Social Work worked with the University of Michigan's Center for Academic Innovation to convert a series of EdX Micromasters courses into the new certificate program "Social Work Essentials/MasterTrack Online Certificate". This presentation will share what institutional supports were required to launch this certificate, some of the challenges along the way, the successes, and the future of the certificate.
