Dr. Brett Ranon Nachman is an Assistant Professor of Higher Education at the University of Pittsburgh and Director of Research for the College Autism Network. Dr. Nachman's research primarily centers on issues related to autism and disability in higher education. He is the co-principal investigator of the PEACES autistic college student success study, the largest and most representative national study to date that exclusively focuses on autistic undergraduate college students. Primarily funded by the Spencer Foundation ($500,000) and The FAR Fund ($75,000), this study has generated insights from more than 1,000 college students across surveys, interviews, and photovoice activities. Dr. Nachman has published work in leading journals, including The Journal of Higher Education, Journal of College Student Development, The Review of Higher Education, and Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders.
