Bio: My name is April Simmons. I am both a published author and small business owner of a nationwide custom keepsakes and merchandise business, also known as ClassandSoulCreationsLLC. I have adopted the motto that Class represents the quality in what I offer and Soul represents the heart and connectivity that I put into everything that I create, while Creations encompasses the wide variety of items offered. The inspiration of my business was developed after purchasing customized event favors in celebration of my sons first birthday. I appreciated the signature touch of items, seeing his image and name on many of the favors and felt even more connected to the special and celebratory moment of it all. Thereafter, I set out to teach myself the skill, technique and design of creating customized event favors which are uniquely designed personalized and assembled to event need and theme. The demand of my initial products led to requests for other items which eventually expanded the services and products I offer into a wide variety of items and merchandise for all holidays and honorable moments. Some of these items include t-shirts, homegoing items, teacher gifts, commencement items, memorial items, branding items for other business owners and much more. The demand of these items has kept my business thriving for the past 3 years and I am looking forward to offering more. Working with such a diverse group of families also allows me to promote my children's book titled, “Manners With You are Fun Things To Do”. This book is the first of what will be a series of books written to support the development of young minds and readers in a holistic way. I am excited to see what else is in store and have many new projects underway for the year of 2024!
