Brian Beck is a two-time graduate of SUNY Empire, earning a bachelor's degree in Business, Management, and Economics in 2016 and an MBA in 2018. He serves as Executive Director of Neuroscience at Atlantic Health System. Before joining Atlantic Health System, he was the Assistant Vice President of Operations for Northwell Health on Staten Island, where he oversees operations that support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
A strong advocate for lifelong learning and workforce development, Brian has been instrumental in strengthening the partnership between Northwell Health and SUNY Empire. Recognizing that many talented healthcare professionals lacked college degrees despite years of experience, he helped create opportunities for Northwell employees to pursue higher education while continuing to work. His efforts have focused on removing barriers to education and encouraging colleagues to advance their careers one course at a time.
