Bio: Leslie joined New York State Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise Division as Senior Certification Analyst in October 2022. She has extensive knowledge as an entrepreneur, most recently as founder of a private dispute resolution practice. In that role, she applied her listening skills to support mutually agreed upon results between persons in conflict. Prior to that, Leslie was the Family Services coordinator for a New York State dispute resolution center. She earned a Master of Business Administration an Advanced Certification in Financial Management and Analysis from Empire State College. Leslie enjoys assisting entrepreneurs with obtaining NYS MWBE certification. Her never-ending quest to assist others and her exceptional interpersonal skills fuels her motivation in helping applicants to become listed on the NYS Contract System directory. Originally, from the Bronx, Leslie spent most of her adult life as an accompanying spouse of a US service member, before returning to New York state and following a lifelong dream of completing graduate studies. Leslie enjoys the great outdoors and celebrating all the beauty to be seen in Upstate New York.
