Optional Workshop: Effective Supervision- Developing Affirming Ethical Systems

This workshop will describe actionable ways supervisors can proactively create more successful supervisory environments, including but not limited to engaging in affirming supervisory practices and supporting supervisee skill development. Attendees will discuss how supervisors can prevent, recognize, and respond to burnout for themselves and those they support, including how to build sustainable supervision systems that will allow for shared responsibility. Finally, attendees will discuss ethical supervision scenarios and will discuss ways to respond to support ethical outcomes.
