SUNY Empire’s Digital Learning Environment (DLE) Communications Subcommittee will host monthly briefings to update the college community on the transition to our new learning management system (LMS). The sessions are intended for anyone wishing to learn more about our new DLE. Training will not be offered at these sessions. 

The first briefing session on SUNY’s systemwide LMS, Desire2Learn (D2L) Brightspace, was held Friday, February 11 at 12:30 p.m.  The presenters are Lindsay Bryde (SUNY's Empire's DLE Communication subcommittee co-chair) and Rosalyn Rufer (SUNY Empire's DLE Communication subcommittee member).

Although the free trial includes a preview of many features of the new LMS, it will not include the college’s integrations or branding.
